Painted on a large piece of gessoed cardboard this painting was created using acrylic paints and a skewed perspective of a chinese lantern against a blue wall. The most realistic piece created, the colors reflected on the wall off the green lantern needed no exaggeration.
A rich texture was created throughout the piece from the cardboard rippling from the moisture in the paint.
